Just a short note to thank you for all the great comments posted and for your interest in Comrades 2008. My final finshing position out of 11000+ runners was 1288. My average speeds were 5:44, 5:68, 5:90, 6:01, 5:96, 5:92. I started in position 2316 at the first timing mat and moved up over 1000 places throughout the day to finish at 1288. The last 30km were nice and tidy despite the fatigue.
